We’re excited to announce that Kendall Square’s own Café Art Science has been nominated for a James Beard Award - the most coveted honor in the world of food and beverage! Thanks to Café Art Science’s renowned bartender, Todd Maul, and a well-rounded team of scientists, chefs, mixologists, and esteemed restaurant experts, the innovative restaurant has been nominated for an award in the category of Outstanding Bar Program.
Among the 20 semi-finalists from foodie-worthy cities in the U.S. like, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Nashville and Portland, Café Art Science is the only Cambridge restaurant nominated in this category- and rightfully so!
With Todd Maul performing bar side experiments, concocting inventive cocktails using Le Whaf’s vapor and “Real Life Willy Wonka” David Edward’s edible membrane packaged WikiFoods as garnishing; you’ll never want to drink a boring Manhattan or Cosmo ever again.
Oh, and though they’re being honored for the drinks – with menu items like Scottish Salmon au Poivre and Hamachi Crudo, you won’t be going hungry. So what are you waiting for? Make a reservation tonight! The Outstanding Bar Program winner will be revealed in May at the James Beard Award Gala in Chicago, so if you haven’t made a reservation yet, good luck finding a table after the Café Art Science team wipes out the competition in the spring!
Good Luck Café Art Science! Kendall Square is routing for you.
