Shop Local Food Producers Online with waterSHED Exchange
The Butcher, the baker and the…online grocer? A modern day foodie nursery rhyme is coming to life by way of waterSHED Exchange’s mobile food hub. This virtual farmer’s market allows local food producers to offer their products direct to consumers in the Boston market. It’s a little like shopping at the Kendall Square Farmer’s Market from the comfort of your own home – twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week!
100% of the products listed are sold directly from the farmers, fishermen, butchers, bakers, and producers who have crafted the fine food you enjoy.
If you’re a regular at the Kendall Square Farmers Market you may have already met the crew from waterSHED Exchange or seen “Sheddie,” their unique woodie bus cruisin’ Hub streets in the name of sustainable groceries.

Here’s how it works:
Customers can order products like fresh fish, baked good, meat and poultry, dairy, produce and beverages online at watershedexchange.com or walk-up and order via “Sheddie.” Orders are fulfilled the following morning via the local producer and can either be picked up via various “pop-up” locations or delivered to customers’ homes for a nominal charge. If you live in Boston, Cambridge, Medford, Somerville or Watertown you’re in luck, you’re in the waterSHED delivery area!
So start planning next week’s meals and browse gourmet goodies like homemade fettuccine from Deano’s Pastacia, organic Chai tea from Equal Exchange or Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette dressing from Appalachian Naturals.
