Our annual summer Farmers’ Market runs weekly June through October. This season’s market is better than ever with an emphasis on grab-and-go lunch options, in addition to baked goods, artisan crafts, coffee, tea, fresh juices, cold summer treats and flowering plants. This year, we’re welcoming back some of our favorite vendors, while introducing a new group of local merchants. For the first time, well-known food authors will join the weekly market for book signings, recipe sharing and tastings.
New vendors include:
Guru the Caterer, Abigails, Canteen + Co., Dads Treats, Sweet Art, Evy Tea, Mother Juice, Popcorn Reborn, New England Ice Lollies, The Kendall Flower Shop, Chica De Gallo, Scoopsies Ice Cream, Vintage Tea & Cakes, 7ate9 Bakery, Powerhouse Juice and Red Garden Pottery.
The Cookbooks in Kendall Author Series kicks off June 11th with Maria Speck, author of Ancient Grains for Modern Meals. Local authors Clara Silverstein, Karen Covey and Tammy Donroe will join the market in subsequent weeks. The weekly community table will host local non-profit organizations Last Hope K9 Rescue, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middlesex County, Cards4aCause and the Cambridge Energy Alliance.
